Improving Connectivity and Destination Management of Cultural and Natural Resources in the South Asia Sub Region (Package T1) ADB TA No: 6504

The project has been designed to: (i) strengthen the basis for sub regional dialogue and cooperation; (ii) give momentum to streamlining cross border tourist movements focusing upon the multi-country sub circuits; (iii) prepare sub regional marketing and promotion action plans to expand the size of the target market segments in the multi-country sub circuits; (iv) develop through capacity building support to organizations responsible for natural and cultural heritage site planning, development, and management and (v) ensure that the heritage sites in the sub region are effectively safeguarded from the development of tourism. METCON have provided their inputs in preparation of marketing and promotion action plan, and capacity building support.
