Capacity Building for Teacher Education Project

The Project objectives are building capacity of NCED (National Centre for Education Development) for planning, managing, delivering training, and successful implementation of Teacher Education Project with preparation of : (i) comprehensive teacher training policy (ii) a staff development plan for training personnel (iii) a training master plan for delivery of training through the PTTC’s, higher secondary schools, and faculties of education (iv) mechanisms for effective coordination between training providers and planning and administrative agencies and (v) curriculum and materials required for management METCON provided its expertise in the areas of teacher education planning, training policy, procurement master manner’s facilities, training curriculum, management training programme, training materials, multi grads teaching programme, culture and gender sensitization.
