Basic Education Project

The Project objectives are to prepare a feasibility study for a Basic Education Project with focus on (i) promoting equitable access to remote areas; girls and disadvantaged groups (ii) improve quality of primary education (iii) strengthening government capacity in management and planning for quality education with (i) policy and institutional analysis and (ii) project preparation. METCON provided its expertise in areas of (i) teacher training curriculum (ii) training needs assessment (iii) standards for school building design (iv) institution development and (v) social assessment (vi) preparation of training materials and manuals.
